Canadian Walk For Veterans
As the daughter of a WWII vet, Donna Maskell was a teenager before being introduced to civilian life. While she did not put on the uniform herself, her military upbringing deemed that her careers, employment and business endeavors would all be service oriented. She worked as an assistant in a busy emergency ward, as a university advisor, a certified life celebrant, then developed a concierge business, and most recently trained as a grief recovery specialist.
Chance served in the Canadian Forces for 8 years as a Combat Engineer and retired as a Master Corporal. He served with 1 Combat Engineer Regiment out of Edmonton, Alberta for 6 years including an 8 month tour of Afghanistan in 2008. Chance spent the last year and a half of his career at 4 Canadian Division Training Center in Meaford Ontario as a Recruit Instructor.
Dianne has worked with Geographic Information Systems for over twenty years. She worked with several federal government departments including Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Agriculture Canada and Department of National Defence. Dianne spent six and a half years in Meaford at 4 Canadian Division Training Center mapping infrastructure down range and providing map products to staff and courses. She currently works for Sturgeon County as a GIS Analyst
